In maart lanceren we een nieuw project, namelijk de benny’s! Dit zijn 500 handgemaakte, gerecycleerde stoffen popjes die we als kunst geurilla actie zullen verspreiden over 500 gelukkige fietsen in Gent. Vanaf 10 maart kan je ze bezoeken in achter de maan (st. niklaasstraat 1, gent) waar ze opgesloten zitten tot ze uitbreken en Gent veroveren. Word alvast fan op facebook of bezoek de site.
Komende vrijdag (17 februari van 12u tot 13u30) vindt in de KASKcinema een gratis filmvertoning plaats van 5 korte documentaires. Deze zijn allen gemaakt in 2011 op 5 weken tijd tijdens een residentie in La Louvière. Dit in kader van het festival 5 sur 5, dat op 17 februari hun werking komt uitleggen! Want voor de editie van 2012 zijn ze op zoek naar nieuw jong talent voor regie, montage, klank en beeld. Een dikke aanrader voor wie ervaring wil opdoen of een stage zoekt.
Eén van de documentaires die vrijdag te zien is, is gemaakt door Britt. “Les Dernières Pièces” gaat over de fabriek Royal Boch die failliet is. De inwoners van La Louvière hebben elk een eigen band met de fabriek. Hun verhalen komen tot leven met behulp van stop-motion beelden van de keramiek.

Vorige vrijdag werd het nieuwe druksmagazine gelanceerd met een geweldige expo in het entrepot in brugge! Het boekje barst van illustratief, fotografisch en ander grafisch werk. Geweldig om tussen al dat talent te staan (check zeker eens marian coppieters, koen aelterman en lore smolders) met o.a. een tekening van mijn film homemade.
